24 by 48 inch Oil Painting on Gallery Canvas, ready to hang.

This powerful oil painting captures the intensity and bravery of frontline firefighting in Northern Ontario. A Canadian-built CL-415 water bomber sweeps in low, releasing a torrent of water over the burning forest, while a Bell 212HP Twin Huey helicopter—equipped with a Simplex fire attack tank—lifts off after deploying a five-person fire crew from Hearst.

The scene is taken directly from Fire HEA11 (Hearst Fire #11), a moment that embodies grit, teamwork, and courage in the face of danger. For me, this work carries a deeply personal connection: the helicopter pilot on this mission was my husband.
